Competitions:
There will be four general types of competitions in this game: submission competitions, live board competitions, session competitions, and live AIM competitions.
Submission competitions will be posted in full on either the Head of Household or Power of Veto board at a specified time and are to be completed individually and submitted to your host, Julie Chen, through private message. Unless otherwise stated, the default deadline for posted competitions is 24 hours from the original posting time; challenges submitted after the deadline will not be counted. Only under extenuating circumstances will exceptions to this rule be made. In addition, you may only submit challenges once. If you send in a second challenge or more, it will be ignored.
Live board competitions will be posted at a predetermined time and moderated by Julie Chen. You will be a given a minimum of 24 hours notice for these types of competitions and it is wise to be punctual because these competitions will usually be time-based.
Session competitions will be played on AIM, one-on-one, with your celebrity co-host, Lil’ Kim. Unless otherwise stated, you will have between 24 and 48 hours to reach Kim on AIM and complete the challenge.
Live AIM competitions will also be hosted by Lil’ Kim on AIM but will be played live in a group chat. You will be a given a minimum of 24 hours notice for these types of competitions and it is up to you to ensure that you are present. If you cannot make it to a live competition, simply let Julie or Kim know. Houseguests who are more than ten minutes late to a live competition will not be permitted to compete.
Head of Household:
Each week, houseguests will compete for the title of Head of Household. Free from the threat of eviction, the HoH is responsible for nominating two houseguests for eviction. The HoH will submit his/her nomination ceremony (including the order in which keys are pulled) to Julie, who will then post the official ceremony. Each week, the outgoing Head of Household is ineligible to compete in the following HoH competition.
Power of Veto:
The Power of Veto winner can choose to remove one of the Head of Household's nominations from the chopping block, including him- or herself. The winner is also protected from becoming a replacement nominee for the week. If the PoV holder chooses to remove a nominee, the current HoH must choose a replacement nominee. Only six houseguests will compete in PoV competitions: the HoH, the two nominees, and three houseguests selected by random draw.
Diary Room:
The Diary Room is where houseguests will talk about the game in absolute privacy. Only you and the hosts will have access to your Diary Room board, so feel free to speak your mind. You are required to post confessionals each round. If you fail to do so, you will receive a warning and be deemed ineligible to compete in the following HoH competition. You are also encouraged to post game-related conversations wherever appropriate.
Voting:
Nominees are not required to vote. The HoH will only vote in the event of a tie. For all other houseguests, voting is a two-step process. In your diary room, you will briefly explain the pros and cons of keeping each nominated houseguest and leave a goodbye message for both nominees. You will then submit your vote to Julie in a private message. Once you have submitted your vote, it is final and cannot be changed. If you fail to vote within 24 hours of the Power of Veto ceremony, you will receive a warning and be deemed ineligible to compete in the following HoH competition. If you fail vote three times total over the course of the game or two times in a row, you will be expelled.
Evicted Houseguests:
If you have been evicted from the game, you are forbidden from speaking to current houseguests about the game. If you are a pre-juror, you are forbidden from speaking to both current houseguests and jurors about the game. Anyone found in violation of this rule will be immediately expelled.
Warnings:
You will receive a warning for:
- Failing to post at least one Diary Room confessional per round
- Failing to vote in an eviction
- Failing to leave goodbye messages for both nominees
- Using any form of hate speech on the board or in AIM conversations
A houseguest can receive a maximum of two warnings. If you commit another infraction after two warnings, you will be expelled from the game.
Expulsion:
You will be expelled for:
- Exchanging competition info (answers, scores, etc.) prior to results being posted
- Speaking to evicted houseguests about the game
- Committing three infractions
